Iya Fasewa
Ifa name Iya Fasewa Osundamilola AjeEgbe Ifasola Ifayemi Akanbi omo Teena. I am a spiritual being having a human experience. I work and train as a psychotherapist, Indigenous therapist, and Spiritual Priestess to help myself and others better understand their human experience toward adaptive ways of being. I am able to find authentic and transformative space for your healing in this world. I use various therapeutic approaches that can speak to humans from all ages and walks of life.
With my specific skill set, I help people remember who their authentic selves are and to express if freely and unapologetically. I have over 20 years of experience providing mental health/wellness services. I am a licensed Social Worker and an IFOT graduate. I completed the yearlong certification program in Indigenous Focused Oriented Therapy in 2017.
I am a vocalist, visual & craft artist, and dancer. I recently traveled to Nigeria and was initiated into the priesthood of Ifa and Osun. I am a true believer in the power of imagination and auspicious ways in which the universe manifests our intentions.
Ifa for Kids is an intergenerational passion of mine that allows me to engage with dynamic youth who remind me every moment that love conquers all and that with spirit, they can achieve their highest destiny.
